Purdys can prepare Wills for you. For each Will we prepare, we donate £5 to your choice of either Help the Aged (Registered Charity Number 272786) or Fledglings (Registered Charity Number 1112618). If you don't have a valid Will your money and belongings may not automatically go to the people you want to inherit. Also, you may wish to discuss how to reduce any potential Inheritance Tax bill which may arise when you die. Currently everything you leave on your death which exceeds £312,000 is potentially liable to Inheritance Tax at 40%. Through your Wills and other tax planning, such as Trusts, we can help you to reduce the potential amount of Inheritance Tax your family will need to pay. Specialist Trusts can be very helpful in providing for disabled family members. We can also help you with Powers of Attorney. |
 There has been much publicity regarding the proposed "transferable allowance" for Inheritance Tax. We believe that, even with these changes, there will still be many benefits to your family by including a Discretionary Trust in your Will.
